Another break from Letters to Benedict to post some O antiphons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Traditional O Antiphons begin on 17th December but you can easily start a bit earlier by making up your own. Here’s a few to give you some ideas, based on my recent observations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O heater of chestnuts<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thank you Jesus, that you feed us. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

O sitter in doorways<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Disturb us, homeless Jesus. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

O sun dancer<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the margins of the cosmos, come and dance with us Jesus. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

O morning blackbird <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Come to your broken world, Jesus. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ve also written some short prayers to accompany the traditional Os. Here they are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
