We live on the edge of the Longdendale Valley and the Transpenine Trail is very near by. The nearest section follows the line of the old Manchester to Sheffield railway via Woodhead and our plan this spring had been to discover some of the other sections of this route further from us. Bob remembers when it was running but I have only ever known it as a path, complete with fantastic views and wildlife. There are also lambs in the fields at the moment, just as there were in Devon last year..<\/p>\n
<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-126\" src=\"https:\/\/foowr.org.uk\/lejogblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/dsc_49441681209679-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" srcset=\"https:\/\/foowr.org.uk\/lejogblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/dsc_49441681209679-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/foowr.org.uk\/lejogblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/dsc_49441681209679-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/foowr.org.uk\/lejogblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/dsc_49441681209679-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/foowr.org.uk\/lejogblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/dsc_49441681209679-1200x675.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 85vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n
Each day I go out I take photos of many of the same things.
