A massive place on Judgement Mount, it was built in 1823. Heaven knows how many people it was built for of who goes there now. Like most of the Parish churches I’ve passed in Scotland, it was locked.
\nI walked through the town centre. Unfortunately at 9.30 on a Sunday morning the ice cream cafe was shut. So was most of the town centre. More worryingly quite a bit of it was empty. However there were attempts to entertain the passing visitors with some whimsical statues.<\/p>\n
<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/foowr.org.uk\/lejogblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/dsc_0343588434829.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-631 alignnone size-full\" width=\"2204\" height=\"3920\" srcset=\"https:\/\/foowr.org.uk\/lejogblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/dsc_0343588434829.jpg 2204w, https:\/\/foowr.org.uk\/lejogblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/dsc_0343588434829-169x300.jpg 169w, https:\/\/foowr.org.uk\/lejogblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/dsc_0343588434829-768x1366.jpg 768w, https:\/\/foowr.org.uk\/lejogblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/dsc_0343588434829-576x1024.jpg 576w, https:\/\/foowr.org.uk\/lejogblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/dsc_0343588434829-1200x2134.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 709px) 85vw, (max-width: 909px) 67vw, (max-width: 1362px) 62vw, 840px\" \/><\/a>
\nHaving parked at the railway station, Bob caught me up.
