There's antimony, arsenic, aluminium, selenium...
Broken
down into elements
this bread and wine
are not that different
from your body and blood
which we remember,
or from our body and blood
with which we pledge our service.
We give you thanks for the stuff of the universe,
From minute particles for complex compounds;
May your presence transform us and these elements
From ordinary to extraordinary;
May it be for all, the stuff of life!
